Fireworks in a jar...

So today we have a quick little blurb for you. Blurbs are nice... perfect for an end of the day craft!!!

This is so easy... first... we start with a cup, a jar of water, oil, and food coloring. 

 Add 1 TBSP oil to cup, add food coloring.

 Whisk. Whisk it REALLY good...

 Drop in jar.

 Ok, let your son shoot the food coloring into the jar... ooh cool little effect.

Kinda reminded me of a lava lamp here. 

Then they started to "burst" apart... it was really cool looking. 

 Now we had fireworks!!!

We did blue too but my phone died at that point. I really need to watch that better. This was a fun and quick activity with the kids! I recommend it!!! Perfect for a rainy day =)
